A meal of all you can eat for $7.77--what a deal in Vegas. I liked it. We went to eat on a budget & also to see Freemont Street. This made it very easy. This buffet is underrated. If you are staying downtown, the Plaza buffet is good, and it gets the job done. The staff is efficient yet detached, the line was negotiable, and the food was heated to proper temperatures and overall was very tasty. The ambience is quiet for diners wanting a peaceful meal with few distractions. The selection of food was about average, yet the cost was very reasonable. Next time I stay in downtown Las Vegas, I plan on stopping to eat here again.    19872

I was honeymooning in vegas for 4 days june 16-19 and the very first time we decovered the Lucky 7 Buffet we couldnt stop going. We ate there everyday for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It was sooooooooo good. We're gonna miss this place.    19801

I have stayed at the Plaza Hotel for so many years and have watched many changes to this establishment. They pretty much serve up the same food they always have, but now with a little twist - in the back you can order made to order omelets, burgers, hotdogs, and some different deserts there as well. I have only tried the lunch so I do not know if it changes in the Evenings but it is pretty good. It is now called 777 and is $7.77 all day and evening. Same price for all unless your under two years. They have Chinese, American, and Mexican. I like pretty much all, but think the Mexican could be a little more authentic, It is too generic! It would also be nicer if they have a menu that changes from day to day, especially since we usually eat there at least once a day during our trips to the Plaza. Overall, if you are hungry and do not want to spend your whole life savings it is basic and filling. Also someone had commented on the prime rib being good. I always get a piece of prime rib or turkey! They are good!    19194

We entered the buffet near the end of breakfast, and nibbled on bacon & etc. until the lunch food rolled out, to save a buck or two. Strangely, the prime rib was as good as anywhere in Vegas! nice and rare, exactly how we like it. We each had several pieces of prime rib and were very satisfied. The rest of the food was disappointing. Most felt canned / frozen, and was a step down from what we've had elsewhere downtown. Go if you love prime rib, stay far, far away if you don't.    18982

The buffet was convenient for us because we stayed at The Plaza. Otherwise, there's not much good to say. The staff was unattentive as no one went out of their way to welcome us, make us feel comfortable or clear our table. They weren't rude, they just acted as if they were there for the paycheck and the daily routine of their jobs was boring to them.

The food was average to below. If you like canned pears and peaches, then you will be in heaven with the fruit selection. While most buffets offer corned beef hash that comes from a can, the Plaza Buffet seems to offer a heat 'n serve product that could easily be enhanced with some fresh potatoes and diced onions. The scrambled eggs seemed to be steamed and rubbery while the entire pan of bacon on the line at the time was under-cooked and limp (and very greasy). The sausage patty was horrible. Waffle was good.

The atmosphere in the restaurant was generic and appeared to be an afterthought.    18823

I go and eat at the Plaza all the time and I love it... My wife cooks their, so if I said I didnt like it she would beat me. j/k it really is good...
