- Good Meal
We had previously dined at Michael Mina's restaurants in both Bellagio & Borgata. Our meals were always both delicious and unique. At StripSteak the waiter was quite knowledgable with both menu preparation and ingredients. We were brought complementary duck fat fries, which are three different types of potato strips with three different dipping sauces, all of which were delicious. They also served a very tasty warm onion focaccia. We shared pureed butternut squash soup with lobster tortellini, which melted in your mouth. We had beef short ribs, which were very tender & delicious, accompanied with carrots, pearl onions & celery. For side dishes we had an excellent asparagus dish with marscapone butter, but we were dispappointed in the artichoke with spinach. It had a certain spice that we didn't care for. We had more than enough duck fries to serve as our starch. Since we shared our meal, the waiter had our meals split in the kitchen, which was a nice touch. We also shared a half bottle of wine. Even though we split the meal we were quite full and skipped dessert. When they presented the check they gave us a complementary bag of Fiddle Faddle Popcorn. The meal came to $90 before tax & gratuity, which we felt was quite reasonable for such a meal. We will definitley return & try other tempting dishes on the extensive menu.
