Had good meal here, lots of decent food to choose from and much more reasonably priced than those on the strip.

I am a local and we eat at Texas Station's buffet a lot. Hands down, it's a very good value. At less than $9 per person for supper, you can't beat that.

I'll be honest -- most of the food on the buffet is just standard American fare and is nothing special (or really doesn't taste too good). However, the made to order fajita bar is what we go for!

My hubby and I will get two sodas, usually each have a bowl of soup or a salad, then we will get one large made to order plate of chicken fajitas, get some tortillas and bowl of fixins (guacamole, shredded cheese, pico de gallo and sour cream) and share them. Then comes the cup of coffee and slice of pie or ice cream sundae! For a total of less than $20, we get a full meal for the price of one fajita plate at Chili's!

I don't vouch for the other food on the buffet, but I love the fajitas! Most of the pastas are mushy and the pizzas are pretty bad, but I've found the Mexican food and the turkey and mashed potatoes to frequently excel! The rule at this buffet is stick with simple foods and made to order items and you can't go wrong.

The worst part of this buffet is the dining area. It's pretty much just a bunch of tables with no atmosphere.

Also note that many locals in the area dine here and bring their children. I'd say this buffet has more locals than visitors. And that should tell ya something about the food! We are both 30 year old professional locals with no kids and we love the fajitas here! (After writing this review, it's made me hungry -- and I think we'll go here for dinner tonight)!

Texas station is made up of mostly Mexican food, with a 50/50 mix of locals and tourist. There is a Chili station, a Mexican station where you can make your own burrito, fajita, tacos, there was a Chinese station, an Italian Station, and the BBQ section, this is where I pigged out. If you’re in the mood for BBQ ribs, the ribs is pretty good, nearly as good as Tony’s Roma. Texas station didn’t serve prime rib (well I didn’t see any), they serve corn beef instead….if you like corn beef, you would love Texas station, b/c the corn beef was pretty good. My wife loved the corn bread.

For a lower-medium grade buffet at $9, pretty good value for the money (if you're in the mood for BBQ food); remember you get what you pay for, meaning the food/deserts is not going to be as good as Aladdin or Paris.

If you pay full price here you may be disappointed. But if you have their players card you can get $5.00 off coupons at Harrah's Carnivale Court. With the coupon it is a great deal. This is the biggest buffet I have ever seen. Service has always been good. Desserts are better at Paris & Green Valley Ranch.

This is one of my favorite buffets in town. The price is right and most of the food is pretty good. The
fajitas are always tasty. The pizza and pasta are disappointing. Standard American fare (roast beef,
ham, mashed potatoes, etc...) is usually pretty good.

Great buffet food, super service, ask for Rudy's station......and cheap too. Will definately be back. I thought it was better than Sunset by a lot.

Too family friendly. Children were running loose and handling the food at the counters. After numerous containers of eggs, toast, bacon, sausage and other items were fouled, we decided not to risk eating here again. The big draw for us was the custom omelettes. They had one cook trying to serve twenty people, one omelette at a time. After one hour of waiting, we gave up. Stay away from here. Go to Denny's and have a grand slam breakfast for less money.

We had heard very good things about this place, so we checked out our first night in town. Food seemed to have been of high quality originally, but was ruined by uniformly terrible cooking. For instance, you like prime rib? I do too, but not when it's horribly oversalted and then cooked several hours past well done. I asked for a rare one, and got another xxxtra well-done cut. I won't even talk about what they did to the salmon.
