I had been having " the used to be named :the best buffet in town" whenever I
will be in Vegas and I had been recommending this buffet to friends.
However at my last Lunch buffet ( On Nov 17, Saturday) there, I was somewhat
disappointed because Bellagio Buffet did cut or trim down lots of best food that
they used to serve....the shrimp cocktail was still good....scallop salad was
not worth the value...the size of scallop was smaller than the size of marble,
there was no Sea bass, no lamb racks...no exotic game meat...that they used to
serve even in lunch buffet on Saturday. Price was ok for $27....but the quality
of food did reduce at lease, in my opinion , about 20 to 25% compared to what
they used to serve, even the orange juice, used to be like freshly
squeezed....this time the orange juice did not taste like from juice freshly
squeezed......
I do not mind paying for the cost of buffet, but I did expect return of best
quality of food served for the money that I paid.....
And I hope people should check out food review first to try their
buffet...because overall, maybe due to economy situation ...every hotel's buffet
is cutting down its' quality ....thanks hope this will help you to decide
whether you will try the buffet there....thanks

We heard and read so many good things about the buffet at the Bellagio, but my wife and I thought the food was just okay. The Kobe beef that was featured ws very tough and we were not about finish the piece that we got. The king crabs legs were icy and the dessert selection was limited. I was expecting the buffet to be inline with the Wynn, but disappointedly it was not. On a positive note, the sea bass and bluenose were excellent.

We went on my birthday and it was so not worth the money
the prime rib was great but the auju was crap. The bussers
kept bugging us. The dessert was good but that was it. Most of
the food was either raw or spit out gross. Will not be going
back at all.

No complaints, good all around place to go .. loved it.

The best buffet in Las Vegas. In a poor economy, this buffet is still tops for value, quality, and price.

I am local and eat at least one buffet each month. Bellagio's buffet is clearly the best. Large variety of choices of main entrees. Prime cut beef, lamb, duck, veal, various fish. If you love King crablegs like most, they are cut open for you. So you can pig out on the crab w/ out fuss or mess. The food is of very high quality, and very well flavored. The desserts are gourmet and tasty. Partial divisions betweet groups of tables help keep the noise minimal. Very clean. The service friendly and prompt. Many buffets priced similarly that offer considerably less in food quality, flavor, service, and ambience.

we used to love this buffet, but in November it had gone downhill! They jacked up the prices for "thanksgiving weekend" this was 2 days after Thanksgiving. The variety of food was poor, everything seemed to have pumpkin in it, it felt like they were trying to use all their leftovers!! Much prefered the other dinner buffets we tried, not worth the extra $$ for the Bellagio.

We visited for Brunch on New Years Day and again the following Sunday. It is completely worth the $30 price tag. They had everything from prime rib, roasted leg of lamb, roasted ham, roasted turkey, about 5 different kinds of fish prepared different ways, 3 different types of crab legs and claws (which are conveniently split open for you, but are served chilled), shrimp, and chicken. The prime rib was excellent; the eggs benedict were extremely well prepared. The bellagio buffet also has an abundance of fruits and yogurts, and excellent desserts and pastries. I particularly remember a crusty sourdough type roll that paired wonderfully with just about anything I ate. They also have soups that are delicious - I had clam chowder one day and cream of wild mushroom the next. For breakfast, they also have an omelet station, many kinds of pancakes, french toast, crepes (the cheese filled ones with strawberry topping were wonderful), bacon, eggs, etc. The servers have many tables to look after, but my drink glass never went below half-full, and our plates were promptly cleared. There is a bar in the buffet, but I'm not sure about pricing on that, as we did not use it.

Our son visited the buffet in August and said it was great especially the seafood on a Saturday night. On Saturday Oct. 24th we went to the buffet at 3:00pm which still was the lunch buffet, however, the cashier said as long as we were the dining room at 4:00pm (that is when the supper buffet starts) we would also get the supper buffet for the price of the lunch buffet ( a savings of about $8.50). So that is what we did. The shrimp was excellent, large and peeled, the crab legs were cut in half lenth wise so it was easy to get to the meat, however, they were still frozen. When you did finally get the meat out and dipped it into the drawn butter, the butter solidified after a few dippings. The seafood selection was mere and only had about 4 items not including the sushi. They only had two green salads and nothing else. If I would of had to pay the supper price I would have been terribly upset because the value definitely wasn't there. I would go back to the RIO for the seafood buffet for the same price.
