Last visit in 2006 was great.......that's why we came back. Used to rank up there with the likes of the Paris and Bellagio buffets. Things have changed! Selection was very limited. If you like prime rib, avoid this buffet like the plague..... if you try and eat it, it will ruin anything else you try to eat.......had to be the worst I have ever had anywhere. Other selections were either underdone or overdone. The selection of desserts is something that you might expect to see if you were paying $5.95 for your lunch. Overall, I did not find anything worth returning for in the future.

The food was great. There is a huge selection and the atmosphere is wonderful. I believe the price for this quality of food is very good. I highly recommend this buffet.

really good food and selection. area where food is, a little congested. our waiter TOM was outstanding. had a nice view of the pool area. when you are sitting it feels like you are in a reg. restaurant, not a buffet. all the food we tried was average or above.

GREAT!!!! this buffet might be the best i was at... with two exceptions the Iced tea was not real brewed and the desserts were subpar, but that is the end of the bad, now to the good... the food selection was awesome we went on a friday night and they actually had KOBE BEEF very nice!!! alpine turkey breast, pasta station, king crab legs (cold), steamed crab legs prime rib the selection was terrific... we also got a deal on the price when we went to the shark reef (about 10 bucks off) HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!!

A little pricy, but very nice. Food was very good, but the deserts were a little too basic and not enough choices for this price range. The rest of the food had a good selection. Liked Rio better.

Great buffet. If you go to the Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay, get the combo Reef/Buffet, you save $$$. Atmosphere is great.

This was not only my worse breakfast buffet experience in Las Vegas, but probably my worse breakfast buffet experience EVER! Bayside Buffet was highly recomended by a friend and former instructor of mine and I gave it a shot with my wife. The meat and eggs at all the stations were either undercooked or cold (lukewarm at best), the selections of food was very poor, and the food placement at the stations was terrible. I should have asked for my money back, but I didn't want it to ruin the rest of my Vegas experience, so I didn't. But it did ruin my experience at Mandalay Bay. AVOID THIS BUFFET AT ALL COSTS!

BAYSIDE BUFFET: EVERYTHING WAS VERY TASTY AND FRESH AND THE FOOD WAS GOOD. IT WAS NOT WORTH THE MONEY AND THE SELECTION OF FOOD WAS NOT THE BEST. YOU WOULD THINK THAT MANDALAY BAY WOULD HAVE A GREAT BUFFET WITH LOTS OF CHOICES BUT I WAS EVERY UN-HAPPY. I SHOULD HAVE GONE WITH MY FIRST CHOICE THE {RIO CARNIVAL WORLD BUFFET} NOW THAT IS WORTH EVERY DIME AND THE SELECTION IS GREAT. AVOID THE RIO VILLAGE SEAFOOD BUFFET IT IS EXTREAMLY OVER PRICED AND THE LOBSTER IS CHOPPED UP IN PIECES AND NOT VERY GOOD.
