Over priced . The selction of food was poor. Chinese food no chow mein. The other
chinese with noodles was old sticky and not good. Spring rolls were good. Tried
the italian sausage and peppers again no pasta to go with it, and the sausage was
not good at all. Tried The Tortallini with the alfredo sauce. The alfredo was not
alfredo sauce the tortallini was dried out. So I tried the prime rib, Under cooked
, over salted. For desert I had a whipped coffee it was good, and a slice of
cheesecake that tasted like a vanilla cheesecake i'm guessing. I don't think we
will be back.

Rampart offered a free buffet for two on 2/24/12. On that same day with LONG LINES due to the offer, Rampart Buffet had a "card" party gathering that took up one whole section of the restaurant. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!! The last time Rampart offered a free buffet which I believe was earlier in February, 2012, there was a SEMINAR OFFERED IN THE CASINO. TALK ABOUT LONG LINES!!!! Who prepares these "specials"??? Are they on something???? The next time I am offered a "free buffet" from Rampart, I am going to MAKE DAMN SURE NOTHING ELSE IS GOING ON IN THE RESTAURANT TO ALLOW FOR PEOPLE TO STAND IN LINES FOR UP TO 40 MINUTES JUST FOR YOUR AMUSEMENT!!!!

I was surprised that there was no line and on entering there were very few diners. It soon became apparent why; there were only a few dishes offering anything close to eye appeal. I don’t mind sacrificing a little quality for variety, but this buffet included canned corn and peas/carrots. I stopped whining long enough to eat a salad with bottled blue cheese dressing, overdone mahi mahi, one bite out of a dried out BBQ pork rib,2 slices of overdone pork loin, a chocolate covered strawberry and a tasteless Napoleon.

Basically I thought the Rampart was just an average buffet with nothing really outstanding about it. I actually drove quite a way and used an ACG coupon but I don't think it would be worth the trip again. Somewhere closer would be just fine like The Orleans. I did like the casino though very much, not too big, not too small.

Wow the St. Patrick's day buffet was amazing!!! The food tasted great and all the wonderful choices for Irish food .. You couldn't beat the price at 8 bucks, I loved the european coffee machine, Douwe Egberts from The Netherlands<< You can have as much as you like, it would make any Dutchman jealous since they have to pay over 3 euros per cup of coffee and we can have as much as we like as part of the price. I usually hate the buffets for example station's buffets are the world's worst and I was gonna swear off buffets but since the Irish bar across from the buffet was a half hour wait and a plate alone was 14 bucks I turned to the buffet and everything tasted fresh!!! I loved the dipping the strawberry into the chocolate machine, that was great too!! Please go, you will love it!

This place was recommended by a friend. I took my staff their for dinner on this past Thursday and had a great time. It was their seafood night, the crab legs were large and sweet, the shrimp were peeled, piled high and of a decent size, the Hosts and Servers were friendly and the chocolate fountain on the dessert bar was a nice way to finish.

My family and I used to love the Rampart Buffet. But the quality has has gone down. I went for dinner and got there a little after changeover time (around 4:30). The selection was so-so, the beef ribs were consistently being overcooked by the chef (he wasn't watching them and they were burning behind him). The salmon is still very good, and having a capuccino machine is nice. The salads are not very good anymore. Prime Rib is not a good cut and is over done. They used to have a fresh beet salad that was great. Alas, it is gone. If you have the $5.00 off coupon they give out every month, this is a decent deal (about $8.00 for dinner). If not, I would head over to the Red Rock.

We usually eat here at least once a month. The send us a newsletter with a $5 off coupon for one person. Poor Marketing, as they know that most people go there as couples or more. The food is mostly good, however, very inconsistent. We can go there four weeks in a row and everything is great, then go again and it is terrible. Last visit the prime rib was overcooked, the pork roast undercooked, the cakes cut previously must have been from either Lunch or yesterday's dinner! dry and hard. Unless you ask for them to give you a piece from a cake, that is what happens. They have a nice selection of food, and the pizza is very good. It isn't very big, but we know the servers (most of them) and they are very pleasant and congenial and are always prompt in service!
