My family and I used to love the Rampart Buffet. But the quality has has gone down. I went for dinner and got there a little after changeover time (around 4:30). The selection was so-so, the beef ribs were consistently being overcooked by the chef (he wasn't watching them and they were burning behind him). The salmon is still very good, and having a capuccino machine is nice. The salads are not very good anymore. Prime Rib is not a good cut and is over done. They used to have a fresh beet salad that was great. Alas, it is gone. If you have the $5.00 off coupon they give out every month, this is a decent deal (about $8.00 for dinner). If not, I would head over to the Red Rock.

We usually eat here at least once a month. The send us a newsletter with a $5 off coupon for one person. Poor Marketing, as they know that most people go there as couples or more. The food is mostly good, however, very inconsistent. We can go there four weeks in a row and everything is great, then go again and it is terrible. Last visit the prime rib was overcooked, the pork roast undercooked, the cakes cut previously must have been from either Lunch or yesterday's dinner! dry and hard. Unless you ask for them to give you a piece from a cake, that is what happens. They have a nice selection of food, and the pizza is very good. It isn't very big, but we know the servers (most of them) and they are very pleasant and congenial and are always prompt in service!

Everything was excellent. We've lived in Vegas for 16 years and just recently discovered the Rampart. It took one visit to become our favorite. Now we eat there about 2-3 times a week!

We are not employed by nor do we have any connection to this hotel/casino. This very nice inexpensive but large buffet is inside the hotel/casino called The Ramparts on Ramparts street in Summerland (just south of Summerland Parkway) and is also called the Marriott. I believe the price was $10.95 per person on a Friday evening. They have a large variety, but a special "hooray" for their vegetarian choices, hot and hold. Those made this a great buffet for me. Hot carrot tsimis, stirfry veggies, hummus, egg plant casseroles, spinish casseroles, veggie egg roles, potatos, lots of cold salads, very good sugar-free pies and cakes and great fruit. My wife is not a vegitarian and she loved the rib roast, Chinese spare ribs, and salmon. We have eaten in a number of buffets in Vegas, but we have only returned to this one. Our smoke-free section was great!

lovely, peaceful place, with exceptional food - possible to eat a fabulous vegetarian meal here -
and the meats and fishes are also great, for those so inclined.
desserts are exceptional - just had a piece of cake better than the Cheesecake Factory $7.00 slice - plus got a meal!

I like this buffet. I hate smelling smoke while I eat and this buffet has a truly non smoking section. The food is good and the sugar free deserts are the best of any buffet that I have tried.
