I don't like the hosts here, I've had 3 bad experiences with that. That aside, very good food, Excellent price! Get a coast card, they are allways running specials.

This buffet wasn't worth the $12.95 dinner price. It has gone downhill since Coast Casinos merged with Boyd.
Prime Rib was chewy & tuff, turkey was good...nothing else was being carved. Some of the menu items listed on the entry board were not even on the buffet...and we were there early at 5pm. There was a lot to choose from but nothing was particularly good. You can fill up here on mediocre stuff, and decent peel n eat shrimp, but nothing has a wow factor. The set-up makes for a crowded serving area and lots of people bumping into one another, there is no "flow". The desserts were on the good side of typical Sara Lee quality Vegas buffet items, meaning that although they were not stellar, they were fresh and there was plenty of choice. Stick to the nut bars & some ice cream.

The Suncoast is way off the strip, but is part of the same family of resorts that provide excellent service and value in Las Vegas. Their buffet reflects that.
Simply put, they offer a great selection of food items for a very fair price. There is something for almost everybody, and you won't go hungry.
A good tip to remember is that there are two lines to pay and enter, and the one on the east side is almost always less crowded. It's because it's a locals place , and most of them come in from the parking garage on the west side. Once you're in, the food is great and you have a lot of choices.

I was disappointed at the lack of choices for hot vegetarian dishes.

I ate there on Monday 2/9/04 for breakfast. There was no line and I was seated quickly. Everything was fresh and hot. The Omlette station took my order and prepered my eggas exactly as I wanted them. This is not a gourmet breakfast buffet but does have a well stocked variety of foods. An excellent value for the price. The staff was friendly and effeceint as I find all Coast properties to ususally be. While I did not expect to see lox there was herring in osur creme and a very good lox spread. The sliced ham was excellent. This is a great uffet for the modest $4.95 price and is also one of the few places where they will serve you a glass of V8 juice.

too many damn kids running around taking attention away from our server, we only got one refiil on our cokes, but somehow tey managed to get our dirty plates away while we were up. Food was okay, but nothing compared to the other coasts: gold coast and orleans.

Reasonably priced breakfast at this off-the-strip location in Summerlin, great-looking resort property, great selection of hot and cold breakfast items, good service overall and at egg station.

Excellent buffet... one of my favorites to visit in Las Vegas. I visited on Steak-out Tuesday and it was outstanding... some of the best T-bone steaks I have eaten. The prime rib was juicy and tender, and the rest of the spread was very high in quality. For the price, this is definitely one of the best dining values in Las Vegas, and I always recommend this one to friends and family.
