The best buffet in town

three family members and myself decided to eat at the palms bistro buffet. as soon as we got to the buffet the staffs were very polite and informative we were seated right away. the selections were plentiful and to my surprise their display of choices were not short of amazing. my sister even commented she didn't know what to eat because there was so many great choices, and she is the picky one of the bunch. we ate at many different buffets i.e wynn, bellagio, new york new york just to name a few and by far the palms bistro was the best. kudos to the culinary team at the palms for making our visit to the palms buffet a one in a million dining experience. the palms has gain a loyal customer as long as the food stays the same. give those guys a raise!!!!!

much much more food than any buffet in vegas

The Newly Revamped Bistro Buffet is WONDERFUL! Never have I ever had a better buffet in Las Vegas. The food was absolutley delicious, and the staff are great. The Chefs there really know what they are doing, I wish more buffets could be like this. You have made a return visitor out of me Palms! Way to go!:)

We had the displeasure of eating the Bistro buffet tonight for the first time.We are local and have eaten all the buffets at least once and I can say without a doubt in my mind this is the Worst buffet anywhere! The food what little they had was dried out unattended tasteless trash.I felt so ripped off after eating here I was actually pissed off. There was not one single item on the whole buffet i would consider edible.Even the lettuce on the salad bar was browned and mushy.The crab soggy water logged mush. The rolls like a hockey puck. The rice well couldn't get any it was stuck to the serving pan.Nacho cheese sauce runny as water and the salsa for chips was actually on a stem table served hot ?!? The carved roast beef smelled foul and the turkey some cheap generic turkey roll.After I told the manager my thoughts on their wonderful offerings and we left and got over our adventure I realized The Palms should be Totally Embarrassed to put out a product that pathetic ! Never been but I will guarantee prison food is better ! Not only will we never eat in that place again we will never set foot there again.I will tell everyone that will listen of this fiasco. The Palms has got the last dime from me they ever will.

The food was great but it was very salty as i was extremely thirsty for hours after dinner, if they could cook with less salt the ethnic choices were so great as they Lebanese food which also was quite salty.

server the other chick with short black hair that stands around dance and screws
off made me wait for coffee and small OJ like it was her OJ then she took off on
break and left me hang with no drink ! i had salvador first and after having her
i almost didnt go back but i remember sal and he makes sure you have what you
need to eat ! he is a runner !! he got the tip he worked for !! her i gave her
2 bucks ! lol remember us ? they should fire her ass ! when you go in the
upgraded rooms at the palms dont lift up none of the chips or beer or camera it
will charge your room or credit card that quick ! 25 bucks for a camera
dissposable 3 buck for a small candy bar 6 bucks for chips. besides that i loved
my stay and the food and then ^^^salvador^^^ you will never find a better server

Best buffet on strip for lunch. Great price for gourmet selections. There aren't as many choices as other buffets, but you will fill up just as much. Flavors in selections complement each other extremely well. I spoke to chef and complemented him on this how the flavors don't fight each other. He said that this was done purposely. Rarely will a chef stop and talk to ordinary folks, but he did.

friends/fellow buffet diners, be advised that the comments from other reviewers regarding a lowering of quality of food at the Palm Buffet, despite an upgrading of the physical buffet room, is TRUE.

I was amazed, and I tried the buffet for dinner twice after it reopened, that the food quality, even the really good deserts previously, had really gone down. Do you know the feeling of sadness/anger when you go to a buffet in Vegas and there is almost nothing decent to eat, despite many offerings. The quality is very very poor, and the problem is both quality of the meat and ingredients, AND the service personnel. It is a mess at the Palms, and that is sad. Do not know how/why management doesnt do something about it. the buffet is to bring in gamblers, and anyone at the hotel that reads the comments would know there are problems.
