Food was not good. Service was even worse. Only thing good was the dessert. Save your money and go somewhere else.

While we seldom dine at dinner buffets what we liked about Wynn’s was the overall quality, wide variety and small portions. A limited amount of each dish is put out to assure high turnover. Dishes taste tested with ratings from 0-5 (5 being highest):

Jicama salad with mint and yuzu – 2.5 Forks
California roll – 2 Forks
Pickled ginger – 3 Forks

Herb crusted salmon in a carrot miso broth – 4 Forks
Moroccan glazed lamb chop – 4 Forks
Broccoli rabe and roasted garlic – 2.5 Forks
Grilled asparagus – 3 Forks
Bok choy with garlic – 3 Forks
Grilled veggies with pesto – 2 Fork
Wild mushrooms – 3.5 Forks
Crème brulee – 1 Fork
Tiramisu – 1 Fork
Banana mousse – 4 Forks
Banana mouse redux – 4 Forks
White chocolate cherry mousse – 1 Fork
Key lime pie – 3 Forks
Ms. Westie’s ratings:

The setting is nice, however not as opulent as Bellagio’s buffet. Wynn’s buffet lacks a theme, and frankly some good cooking. There is a mix of almost everything, but each sample is small. For example, you got 3-4 Italian dishes including pizza, and 5 Chinese dishes, a few middle-eastern dishes, and a little bit of sea-food.
The quality of the food is low and there is nothing that you cannot find at a buffet which is priced at half of the $35 you pay at Wynn. The desserts bar is poor, except for good ice-cream. Most of foods were not cooked properly. For example, pork chops were hard and rubbery, and the beef roast was raw; the guy next to me in line asked for it to be microwaved so he can eat it.
When the waitress came around we told her about the problems we see with the quality and variety of the buffet, and she brought in the manager. After some ‘customer satisfaction’ talk that we will do everything for you to be satisfied, my wife asked for crepes. His answer was ‘we cannot do it, this is a Friday and Saturday night dish’. He offered no refund, and just paid lip service.
My advice…go to Bellagio for the same money, or choose a place like Sahara or Planet Hollywood for about half price.

The decor of the Wynn buffet is very attractive. The various food stations are easily accessible and well marked. Everything we tasted was excellent. We were particularly impressed with the freshness of the food. It seems as though they only put small amounts out at a time so that the food did not have to sit very long in the warming tables. The prime rib was excellent as was the various chicken and fish entrees. This is in myopinion the very best buffet in Las Vegas.

Dining at the Wynn is the pinnacle buffet experience in Las Vegas. I was amazed at the wide and varied selection of food...trout, red salmon, oysters, fresh bread, eggs made to order, and a dazzling array of other seafood, salads, meats, desserts...unsurpassed in the history of Las Vegas Buffets. The buffet at the Wynn is costly, and the line was ungodly, but the food is well worth the wait. The Wynn buffet is the standard all other buffets are measured against. The only other buffets that even come close to the Wynn are the Bellagio buffet, the Paris Le Village buffet, the Rio seafood buffet, and the Planet Hollywood Spice Market buffet. The Wynn though is superior in every respect.

Over rated. JUST KIDDING! I love this place, top notch food! Pricy but your at Steve Wynn's, he's a legend, what do you expect. It cost a little more to hire a chef, than a line cook. Splurge, this is one of my favorite places to eat.

We had a LUNCH buffet in New Year's Eve. The price is $34.95 (BTW, $41.95 with Champagne) for each. The food was good, specially my favor - smoked salmon, sushi, fish salad. Even though there was no canoli to serve, we found lots of choices. Icecream is kind of home-made with a variety of flavors - pineapple, chocolate, moca, etc. We definately go back. If you're not a seafood lover, please don't go there.

The Buffet - For Brunch

My dad and I went during their Christmas week brunch. We ate breakfast one day. We stood in line for only ten minutes. The price was $35 apiece instead of the usual $17.99 because it was the holiday brunch. The dining room was about 70% full. Here's some of the things offered at the buffet. Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, seafood station, salad station, turkey carving, prime rib carving, ham carving, mashed potatoes and gravy, rice, rolls and butter and a whole desert room, etc.... There's even more that I can't remember. The staff was pleasant and removed the dirty dishes very quickly. I highly reccomend this buffet. This was the second year I've ate at this buffet. I liked it both times.

Horrible experience....while I am limited in my selections because of seafood allergies, those items I did try were COLD and/or DRY....carving stations sliced portions like the cost was coming out of their own pockets....live pasta station sounded like an alternative for a hot dish, but only one pasta (cheese tortellini) was offered!!!!....dessert selection was nice, but dining experience was already ruined!!!!....SAVE YOUR $38.95 ON THIS ONE!!!!
