The breakfast buffet was virtually empty this morning so turnover was a problem, but we were in a rush to catch our plane. I quickly downed OJ, fresh fruit with yogurt, easy over eggs, corned beef hash and some breakfast tatas. Everything was pretty good.

10/11 On our first morning in Las Vegas we chose the breakfast buffet at South Point. It was unusually busy for a Thursday morning due to an influx of cowboys attending a bovine sale as well as the start of the PBR finals. My breakfast included OJ, fresh fruit with strawberry yogurt, easy over eggs, a sliver of ham, bacon and a Tums. Everything was reasonably fresh. The meal was free using coupons from the funbook received at check-in.

We returned a week later for the luncheon buffet using a pair of free buffet coupons from an additional pair of funbooks. I enjoyed a few small cocktail shrimp, a tomato salad, one BBQ pork rib, a few tiny meatballs and a fresh fruit tart.


05/11 Dined twice at the breakfast buffet this trip. Quality and variety remain the same as in the past.

03/11 Our leisurely breakfast with friends lasted almost 2 hours during which I consumed a Bloody Mary, OJ, grapefruit with strawberry yogurt, carved ham and a huevo ranchero. Everything was fresh and good.

12/10 We were staying at the South Point so we ate at the breakfast buffet a total of 5 times during our 2 week stay. The food was consistently fresh and reliable. I would rate this as one of the better mid-priced buffets.

09/10 The breakfast buffet has been upgraded since our last visit and now includes a free Bloody Mary. We each enjoyed an OJ and fresh fruit with strawberry yogurt. The remainder of my meal included an odd, but tasty egg ranchero as well as a dollop of corned beef hash and some home fries.

OK,I am from San Francisco, home of the good food and bad prices. I moved to Vegas a couple of weeks ago and I have been to almost every buffet here. I went to the Rio's Village Buffet to get some good seafood, but the price tag was too high and the food was not as good as I anticipated. Then I went to Hot and Juicy in China Town (not a buffet, but highly rated), I was not impressed with their food or service. I mean you are talking to a person from "The Bay." I know good seafood when I eat it! I love the Garden Buffet at the South Point! I think I have been there 5-6 times since I moved here. They have all you can eat crawfish for $10/person (lunch). For dinner they have a free bottle of champagne w/ card. Their BBQ is so good, and their mexican food is the bomb. I love thier dessert bar. Italian cakes!!! This is my spot and you might catch me there from time to time. I am the one with a stack of crawfish and shells! Ha.

Good Meal better the a lot of strip buffets a lot better price

A great breakfast with the 241 on check in. A great selection. Even had carved beef and ham. Good choise. Beat the hell ot of MSS.

The selection at this buffet was very especially at the dessert section because you can choose items from a sugar free section which is good for thise who like sugar free desserts. The best thing about this buffet is that the price for every meal is very affordable for those who afre on tight budgets or want a cheap but good buffet.

I tried this buffet twice in the last week. The first visit was disastrous, but I returned for the Monday night Steak Night and was very surprised. Go on steak night. I think they have a different chef that day!

This is an average, simple American buffet that will appeal to picky types. There is a very good salad bar with all sorts of fresh ingredients and pasta / tuna salads. There is a large seafood area with peel and eat shrimp and very freezer burned fried seafood (shrimp, scallops and the like). The Mexican station has very good bean burritos but no tacos.

STAY AWAY from the made to order Mongolian grill. If you get this, leave out the meat! The meat is very, very poor and low quality. It is good if you only add vegetables. TRUST ME. The steak on steak night was actually very tender and very good! Desserts are abysmal, but the sugar free carrot cake is a real hit.

This buffet was very dirty too, and the clientele left a lot to be desired.
