- Good Meal
The Sante Fe station is a local casino. That being said, this buffet rates with some of the best. For a
12.95 dinner, you cannot compare this buffet to Paris or Bellagio, however the selection rivals that of
the Rio buffet - without the tourist line. The food is served in smaller dishes for freshness sake, as to
keep the food cycled quicker and to avoid large pathogen bath-sized entre dishes. The salad bar is
centrally located, with not only greens, but other bean salads as well as specialty salads available on a
daily basis. The entrée section is spread over the entire back wall of the buffet - providing easy access
for handicapped and slightly slower paced adults. Perhaps one distinguishing trait from other "local"
casino buffet's is the selection of desserts. At any given point in time they have fresh gelato and sorbet
to choose from, as well as the normal selection of cakes and pies (including some for more sugar
conscious individuals). Personally I'd recommend the carving station, salad bar, bbq and the gelato
(vanilla was the table's favorite). Overall rating would be a 7.5-8 but thats being picky. This buffet
provided a relatively economical meal with fresh produce, as well as prompt and friendly service. A
delight, we will be back again.
