Great restaurant. Super value! Do not be fooled by the store front or look of this
restaurant. I have found that the best ethnic restaurants are the little hole in
the wall type of joints. Charlie Vegas Thai fits that bill. I have been eating at
Thai restaurants for over 30 years, before it was trendy. The trendy places
usually have the least ethnic food. One trendy Thai restaurant even told me that
sticky rice is only served for desert? All the meals that I have had have been
great.

I love Chinese, Thai and Vietnamese food and this was supposed to be a little of Thai and Chinese. I found most of the food on the menu to be Chinese. The thing I didn't like about their lunch specials was the fact none of them included beef, mostly chicken but you would have to pay extra for beef! I ordered the yellow curry and it was ok but had too many potatoes for my liking. It comes with soup or salad and I chose the soup which didn't have any flavor to it at all so I added some spices and soy to make it at least edible. I would not go back for the Thai but I would like to try their Chinese dishes which I think are more their specialty.

Service was very attentive. Location is downtown right off Fremont.
