This is an old style room with excellent service that is sure to please most people. Entrees include choice of salad or soup, a starch and veggies. Ms. Westie wisely chose the filet mignon. I ordered the New York steak that must have been broiled and was not particularly flavorful. The accompanying
oriental salad with chicken was so disappointing. Note: I used the Entertainment 2/1 entree discount.

We had heard about it before we went and we were not disappointed. I suggest the Filet mignon. The best meal I have had in Vegas. I have been going to Vegas for 1 week at least 10 years straight and We will be going back again in May 2007 as usual. Also, I recommend, no children, this is fine dining, not fast food.

What was once a great meal, has become average, due to a reduced wait staff, one waiter called in sick. okay, it happens, but, salad that was once prepared tablside, was done before hand, and it tasted like it. onion soup had to be sent back, not hot, and while the filet mignons we both had were very tasty, they were barely warm. The waiter was apologetic and very nice, but suffered from taking care of too many tables. p.s. and they no longer provided complimentary after dinner cordials. Hope the service improves with an adequate number of waiters.

Made reservations for 3 on Sunday 15. The staff and the service was excellent. The meals served were well done. We had dinner, drinks and dessert. Came up to $105 and $20 tip. Also, used the card from the entertainment book, big help and paid for itself.

This was our 6th visit to this restaurant. Tucked away inside the Las Vegas Club, this restaurant has a lot going for it. The atmosphere is great, the staff is friendly, courteous and attentive without hovering. We had the filet mignon, which was cooked exactly as I asked. The salad is excellent and prepared at your table. In lieu of dessert, we opted for espresso, which was brewed to perfection. Will defintely return next trip. I've heard the Las Vegas Club has been sold and I only hope the new owners don't change things here.

My brother, sister-in-law, and I took my mother there for a birthday dinner. It was a marvelous experience all around. The food was terrific and portions were plentiful. None of us finished our meals. The salads were prepared tableside - the dressing was mixed well with the salad. I had a lobster bisque instead of salad. That, too, was fabulous.
Compared to other gourmet rooms and upscale restaurants, it was a tremendous value. Entrees were in the upper 20s - low 40s, appetizers were in the 7-9 dollar range.
The next time I need a reservation for a nice dinner, that will be my first choice.

Had a very nice meal in this room. The atmosphere is nice, reminiscent of old Las Vegas. The complimentary after dinner cordial is a nice touch.

Went to see the Elvis dude at Fitzgeralds and walked to the Great Moments Room, We had a great time. The food was top notch with all the fine dining service one can expect. We ordered the $24 bottle of Austrailian Shiraz with the prime rib, which was cooked to perfection and the rack of lamb that didn't skimp on the chops. We even got free after dinner drinks while we were discussing what a great meal we had. I can't understand how a restaurant which such amazing old Vegas charm doesn't get more of a listing in some of best restaurant listings. A not to be missed experience.

I'm a "Local" and always bring my out-of-town guests here for dinner. I've been
coming to this particular restuarant for almost 10 years and have never had a bad
meal, service, or over a 10 minute wait! It has an elegant, intimate atmosphere,
(you and yours can make pleasant conversation without the clatter of plates and silverware) but isn't snobby if you and your party show up in shorts and sandals... you'll still receive the same great service. If you need a reason to go "Downtown",
(as if the crowds and the hub-bub of the Strip aren't enough!) this is it!

Sort of a lower cost, high end restaurant located in the Las Vegas Club on Freemont St. downtown.
Elegant, dimly lit dining room done with dark woods give it a romantic feel. They play a nice selection of classical tunes while you eat. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and felt it was "homey". It's a smaller room that seats only 100 people.
I felt that the prices were very reasonable considering that it's includes the full meal, rather than ala carte like some high end restaurants. We both had the surf and turf. Only $35 and it included bread, salad, a small filet mignon and good sized lobster tail. Appitizers run in the $8 range.
We really enjoyed our meal here and won't hesitate to go back.
