Menu for Hugo's Cellar
(Note: Menu will open in a new window)
Description:
The art of fine dining. From the beautiful, long-stemmed rose handed to each lady as she is seated, to the impeccable service and the casual, yet elegant atmosphere, Hugo's Cellar in the Four Queens Hotel/Casino satisfies even the most creative palette. The menu leaves nothing to be desired with a delicious variety of steak, seafood and fowl. Hugo's serves only Prime Grade meat, aged 21 days. Each steak is seasoned, and crushed peppercorns are pounded into the steak at the diner's request. But a favorite of almost everyone is the salad cart.

Served tableside, it is garnished with such items as fresh peeled tomato wedges, bay shrimp, chopped eggs, sliced fresh mushroom, marinated artichoke and hearts of palm, bleu cheese cubes, roasted pine nuts, croutons, grated Parmesan cheese, and choice of Caesar dressing or Hugo's own pepper dressing.

This is followed by an "intermezzo" -- raspberry sorbet served in a miniature ice cream cone. After the main course, selected from such specialties as Tournedos - Hugo or English Dover Sole Bon Femme "Jeanne," a finishing touch of light and dark chocolate-dipped fruits is served with fresh whipped cream. A pastry cart and after-dinner liqueurs top the evening off. Another specialty of the house is Hugo's special Kona coffee, a superior Hawaiian coffee blend prepared in a glass bubble at the table and sweetened with chocolate chips and whipped cream.

Each guest leaves feeling pampered by the several waiters found at each table, including a "sommelier" to assist with the choice of a cordial. Experiencing the fine art of dining at Hugo's Cellar in the Four Queens downtown makes any occasion special.
