Much to the delight of Italian food aficionados, Arriva has arrived at the Gold Coast Hotel and Casino! The new Italian restaurant is conveniently located in the northwest corner of the casino in the space formerly occupied by the Mediterranean Room.
House specialties include an incredible Seafood Napolitano (shrimp, clams and mussels, sautéed in garlic and tomato sauce and served on a bed of linguine); Filet Mignon (stuffed with Boursin cheese and topped with Prosciutto ham and sun-dried tomatoes demi-glaze); and Scallops Provencale (large sea scallops sautéed and simmered in olive oil, garlic and fresh diced tomatoes).
If you enjoy pasta, don't miss the Seafood Ravioli with Rosé Sauce, the chef's own delicious Homemade Lasagna or the Rigatoni Sausage Sicilian (sausage sautéed in a wine and marinara sauce and blended with rigatoni.
Fresh seafood - trout, halibut, salmon, orange roughy, sea bass and swordfish - are all available prepared broiled, sautéed or blackened. The restaurant's tender milk-fed veal and chicken dishes are always favorites and are all equally delicious. Menu standouts include the Veal Marsala (slices of veal sautéed in garlic, shallots and Marsala wine and topped with mushrooms and a delicate brown sauce) and the Chicken Angelo (breast of chicken sautéed in butter and garlic with artichoke hearts, wine and cognac and served with green noodles).
All dinners include an Italian mixed green salad or minestrone soup and choice of baked potato, French fries, rice pilaf or spaghetti. A number of tasty appetizers, Gourmet pizzas, soups and salads are also available a la carte.
